I've the following question.
When I installed Dr. Web I read - there should not be no one antivirus except Dr. Web.
But is Dr. Web is a replace the need for anty-spyware and firewall? Please, say the truth.
I ask this question, becuase in the past I tried Sophos, Norton, Kaspersky, Zone Alarm Internet Security (Antispyware, Antivirus, Firewall) - may Dr. Web warrant me I will have the same level of defence when I have installed no antivirus except Dr. Web?

Is Dr. Web enough to say my PC have full protection from from bad people in my local network and Internet?

At the moment, no, you have to put side firewall.
For example: Outpost Security Suite Pro + DrWeb.

Yes.
At the moment Drweb not have a firewall (meaning only the network control), it will come soon.
On the other threats, DrWEb can fight himself.

Thank you! I think Dr. Web will be a great program after the team add firewall. I'm not pretty sure about anty-spyware and the online scanner are good enough - I mean I tried to download infected files and I saved them on my hard drive successfully.
I think that antivirus control is very good but to rely only on Dr. Web there should be "internet security" version.

These points are not criticism. They are "want to see". I also wish success to Dr. Web.

You always have a choice.
Personally, I do not like the programme, 2 in one, for different purposes using different tools (experience and confidence), my choice Outpost Security Suite Pro + DrWeb. Отправленное изображение

Dr Web is very good antivirus ... but if you see comparison ... Outpost Security Suite Pro 2008 have to do lots of things. I believe in the future - Dr. Web and Outpost will become dream many in one (Internet Security) programs because Russian people are very intelligent and skilled.
http://internet-security-suite-review.topt...der-review.html - you may see what I have in mind. I think it is all marketing but there is something right in that I used Kaspersky, Norton, ZoneAlarm and BitDefender from these so I have some opinion.
One more thing - are you sure - Outpost's malware function and Dr.Web don't cause conflicts?

Outpost Security Suite Pro is a very good firewall, but anitivirus bad (personal opinion), so have to look for compromises.

I am sure!
during installation, Outpost will turn off antivirus, accessible only scanner, it is very convenient.
DrWeb first set, after the Outpost.

Please, be precise - from where, when, what infected files exactly, were they in archives or not...

EICAR - zip archive test files, downloaded from internet - I had ZoneAlarm Internet Security ... and at the moment of the downloading it detected the file, while when I used Dr.Web I should manually scan.
For spyware - I used other spyware checkers - SpyBot, AdAware, SpySweeper etc. and they detected I've spyware (some cookies) I know it is not a criteria, because - every anti-spyware detect different set of spyware. It is all.
