Hi,

 

I have been looking for some samples of BackDoor.Apper.1 since various news sites posted about it, a couple days ago. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any, because the threat is still very new, and it hasn't been submitted to malwr.com or kernelmode.info yet.

 

So, I was hoping that there could be a Malware Hunter, or anyone else here, that could help me with those samples. It is the threat discussed in this article:

The samples are available via virustotal.com intelligence.

#4 - Unfortunately, I am not associated with any organization, so I do not have access to VirusTotal's API. Though I did notice that someone scanned it there. Shame that no one cared enough to scan it with malwr.com, so independent analysts can download it and have a look.
