Doctor Web revealed the updated Scanning Engine service included in Dr.Web products from the series 6 for protection of Windows PCs and servers (32- and 64-bit).


The issue when a system restart was required for the anti-virus to begin using latest downloaded virus definitions has been resolved.



This update also improves stability of the quarantine.


Dr.Web anti-virus for Windows, Dr.Web Anti-virus Pro, Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Security Space Pro and Dr.Web for Windows file servers will be updated automatically. However, a system restart will be necessary.
