The Russian anti-virus vendor Doctor Web released a beta-version of
its anti-virus solution Dr.Web for MS Exchange 2007. The new product
comes as an addition to Dr.Web for MS Exchange 2000/2003 providing
reliable anti-virus and anti-spam protection for Microsoft Exchange
Server 2007. As the new product hits beta, an updated version of
Dr.Web for MS Exchange 2000/2003 with several fixes and improvements
becomes available to customers.
Dr.Web for MS Exchange 2007 supports new concepts of organizations
implemented in Exchange Server 2007 – server role and transport agent
– as well as the new SMTP-events structure of the mail server. Now all
messages are processed by anti-virus transport agents of the Dr.Web
solution at different stages of an SMTP transfer.
Functionality of the quarantine has been improved. Now users can
rescan quarantined objects and use latest virus definitions to
neutralize dangerous objects.
