I am using today's version of the scanner. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, and have a concurrent instance of the McAfee Suite running in the background.
Dr. Web's quick system scan runs fine with no viruses detected. However, when I initiate a complete system scan, the desktop shuts down after about a minute of scanning
and I have to reboot. I choose "normal system boot" and the chkdsk program runs until completed. No problems. My system is a Gateway GM5664 PC with AMD quad-core CPU
(2.3 gigahz). There is an external hard drive attached by firewire. Any thoughts at what I might try?

You aren't supposed to have more than one antivirus product on the system at the same time. I think DrWeb warns you about this at installation time....and have a concurrent instance of the McAfee Suite running in the background...
