Doctor Web, Ltd. – the Russian developer of IT security solutions branded Dr.Web – and the St. Petersburg branch of SZT (Severo-Zapadny Telecom – “North-West Telecom”, if translated into English) announce the launch of the free testing of the PC protection service Dr.Web anti-virus.
Subscribers of the advanced guard service will be able to try the Dr.Web service since July 07 up to October 07 2008. Dr.Web anti-virus will be brought to customers of SZT by Dr.Web AV-Desk – the first Internet service by Doctor Web, Ltd. The deployment of Dr.Web AV-Desk has become another step made by Severo-Zapadny Telecom towards virus-free Internet traffic and protection of personal computers of subscribers against malware and spam. The service will enhance the security of the network and user workstations.
The technical support service of Doctor Web, Ltd. will assist subscribers in installation of the software and support them through the entire testing cycle.
