Hi,

I'm trying to cure two PC from a Virut infection, using the latest Dr.Web Live CD.

I tried either the Fast Scan and the Full Scan (in Graphic Mode) on the two computers but, reaching the end of the scan, nothing just happens.

I let the scans and went away. But when I came back and looked at the results the Dr.Web window shows nothing; totally empty.

I just cannot understand it. Has it worked? Or not?

Where I could read the Logs or Reports? Why nothing is shown?



Now I'm also running the text/bash mode for the scan on one PC, but I couldn't specify what to do with found infections (as it is possible with the Graphic Interface), and I don't understand if it is just Looking For or if it is Curing the infections Dr.Web founds.


I hope in any detailed reply, 'cause the scans lasts really long and I'm loosing a lot of time trying and retrying to understand how the Live CD is working.

Where I can find logs and infos about the scan?

And do you think Dr.Web is totally able to Cure from Virut/Sality infection?
