So yesterday I guess I got a virus/malware. I have WinXP SP3 but I dont have any antivirus protection on my computer. The virus has cut off my internet connection and stops any programs I have tried to run(even in safe mode). I have been using my friends laptop and a USB drive to look up info/programs on how to beat this thing but it just has been a knightmare with nothing working. So I came apon Dr. Web LiveCD but it too is giving me a problem. I have burnt the iso file to a cd and set my bios to boot from CD. But when it loads it just stays in the dos prompt (see attached img).

Also just to let you know im using Nero to burn the iso to the cd. I have burnt a couple of times. It seems like if I just burn it as a data CD, my computer wont boot from it (dos prompt goes to load and says cd not found). So I have to use the option burn a boot cd, and then thats where im at now.

PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN! This is so frustrating!

You have incorrectly written down an image of a disk. It not a disk with data, and an image of a loading disk.
Use the UltraISO program if you cannot write down an image of a disk by means of the Nero program

Ok so like I said, I know that the iso wasnt working right when I used the "burn as data cd" on Nero. Thats why I had to use the "burn as boot cd" option on Nero. But also that wasnt working (black dos screen, see the attached photo from first post).

So I am confused to how I need to burn the iso properly. If you could help further explain your last post that would be great.

I do not use Nero for burning of images of format ISO
I recommend to try the UltraISO program. It is very simple program and it has no failures at record of images of format ISO
