I am currently scanning my laptop with the LiveCD and it seems to be taking a longer time, than when scanning regularly, from the windows app. Is it really slower?
Would I be scanning faster if I mounted the laptop HD into another computer, and scanned from the windows app there?
(Extra question: I can mount with an external usb2 hard drive case. Would the usb2 throughput be the bottleneck then?)
Oh yeah I'm on winXP.
