Hello,

I have problems with the update.pl cronjob. Since my last Plesk update I got several mails like this...

ERROR: Dr.Web ® Updater: cannot obtain lockfile /var/drweb/run/update.lock, stop to prevent multiply instances (Resource temporarily unavailable) !
See Dr.Web ® Updater log file for details.

It seems like the connection to http://update.msk3.drweb.com/unix/500 is forbidden. I read this thread: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=97423
I tried "wget [url="http://update.msk3.drweb.com/unix/500""]http://update.msk3.drweb.com/unix/500"[/url] and got "ERROR 403: Forbidden.". But why? What happened during the Plesk update, that this problem occurs?

My system is a Linux Debian Server with Plesk 9.5.2

Hello,

Please check this file via nano, vi some text editor /var/drweb/bases/update.drl and check update url's in this file. Do you have same 403 problems?

If so, reasons can be

1-) High Dr.Web Server Load
2-) Dr.Web update server problem

You may contact support team, you can give this thread's url to them for explanation of your problem. Also If the reason is high server load, please wait a little bit, may be problem would be solved spontaneously .

yes, same 403 problems.
Don't think the problem is the server load. Having it about a month.
Already trying to solve the problem with the support team, but got no working solution since now...

It is obvious that dr.web update servers have some problems, your settings seem ok, you just need a confirmation from support team about this issue.

You cannot directly access http://update.msk3.drweb.com/unix/500 etc. with wget or any other http client because they doesn't add authentication information unless you specify the information with http client's options. "ERROR 403: Forbidden" error means that you didn't show your authorization information nor your acount is not valid.

Check /var/drweb/run/update.lock. Can you show us the result "ls -l /var/drwb/run/update.lock"?

Ueda is right, "ERROR 403: Forbidden" means that your acount is not valid.

See Dr.Web ® Updater log file for details.
It means that updater is already running and you trying to start another one. May be you should to check updates with less intensity or may be you have some problems with internet connection. To answer on this question we need to see log of updater.

the logfiles are emty. The last entrys in the log are written a few days before the plesk update.

# su -m drweb -c /opt/drweb/update.pl

if it's bad, next

# /opt/drweb/update.pl
