Hi,

I installed DrWeb CureIt Free in a Vista PC. When I executed it, Windows crashed with a Blue Screen of Death. I restarted and no problem, but I did not re-executed DrWeb.
Then, the next day (yesterday), Windows does not boot, giving me a black screen that says that "WINDOWS\System32\drivers\dwprot.sys" is missing.

I searched in the web and found that dwprot.sys is not a windows file, but a DrWeb CureIt file.

How can I fix the problem? Windows crashes at every boot, even in safe mode!

Ok. If this will not help you must be ready to load other OS on the same machine (live cd, usb in bad case) and copy dwprot.sys or dwprot64.sys (depend on your system) to WINDOWS\System32\drivers\dwprot.sys. File is attached

When system has normally booted, run drw_remover (http://download.geo.drweb.com/pub/drweb/tools/drw_remover.exe). this tool must clean all tails
