Hello! I am a greek canditate for buying Dr.Web anti-virus for Windows (without anti-spam).

I'm using Comodo Firewall Pro as firewall, have Windows Ultimate 32bit and guess there won't be any conflicts!

I read the details of the product, but I haven't fully understand, is Dr.Web also o real-time scanner?

Or is it just on-demand? Will it protect me while surfing through the web? Does it have a Web scanner?

Thank u!!

In your configuration the conflicts should not be.

There is no it not only protection on demand.

Will it protect me while surfing through the web?

The traffic is not checked yet. But it is feature will not strongly affect your security at network surfing. At the moment when the virus writing on disk the SpIDer Guard will delete a virus.

PiCo,

Hello! I am a greek canditate for buying Dr.Web anti-virus for Windows (without anti-spam).

Good choice! :)

I'm using Comodo Firewall Pro as firewall, have Windows Ultimate 32bit and guess there won't be any conflicts!

You probably missed the word "Vista", dont you? :) Yes, Dr.Web and Comodo Firewall work perfectly well together.

I read the details of the product, but I haven't fully understand, is Dr.Web also o real-time scanner?

Yes, Dr.Web has on-access real time scanner. They call it Spider.

Does it have a Web scanner?

No, Dr.Web doesnt have Web scanner by now.

Thank you all very much!

Yes I forgot word "Vista". Well the Web scanner doesn't bother me so much, since everything that will be downloaded from a site will be scanned with Spider.

I'm going to buy the product from a shop, that means not-online, I guess they will have the 1 year, 2 year etc packages.
