If I understood correctly, the new version(5.1?)should come in January. What will be new or changed?

Just want to know what to expect.

Thats funny cuz the version on the site now is 5.00.1.12220 and the beta version is 5.00.1.11170. So when the new version comes out it will have 5.00.1.xxxxx ?

the x64 version has been released now, the x86 version will probably be in January sometime, (I dont quite understand why its delayed) but hopefully without the firewall as i believe it still needs alot more work in beta-stage.
