i downloaded livecd, mounted it with daemon tools, copied to cd using nero express, burnt at 24x and it fails to boot. i get error "Disc error 32, AX = 420A, drive 9F" and then "boot failed. press any key to retry"... what have i done wrong?

Hello,

You need to change CD Writting Strategy.

Let me explain it for you.

You shouldn't mount the image with any other tool, you just need to burn it onto a disc.

I suggest you to use imgburn to burn iso format onto disc directly. You shouldn't use daemon tools..

If you got same error with same image file, download live cd again without any download manager expection is your browser. Then please see our tutorial to check if that iso file is legit or not damaged How To Check Md5sum?

oh... i thought it is like image of a game or something, so burnt it that way... ok, thanks
going to buy another cd, havent got any more http://forum.drweb.com/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.png will try that
