[From a Chinese user]

Dr.Web SS 12.0

Windows 10 20H2(Simplified Chinese)

[Google Translate]

[UU Online Game Accelerator](NetEase(Hangzhou) Network Co. Ltd.)

A network accelerator for online games

Webside:https://uu.163.com/

When I try to use [UU] to accelerate online games, conflicts may occur and the system is seriously lagging.

After a few minutes of waiting, as some services of Dr.Web encountered an error and restarted, the system lag was automatically removed. At this time [UU] acceleration may succeed or fail.

The problem is easy to reproduce.

I once reported the problem to the [UU] side, and the [UU] side implied that the problem was caused by Dr.Web.

I hope this problem can be resolved, at least I should know why this problem occurs.

It is well known that antivirus software can have an affect on gaming. Some antivirus software has a gaming mode, but I haven't seen this option in Dr. Web. Perhaps its something for the developers to consider for future versions of the Dr. Web software. I know that in other antivirus programs, gaming mode usually lowers the priority of the antivirus engine so that your system still has protection but the games are given a higher priority for on-demand processing power.

Since Dr. Web doesn't have a gaming mode that I'm aware of, you could try temporarily disabling the SpIDer Gate and/or SpIDer Guard component(s) of Dr. Web by clicking on the tray icon and using the context menu. With that being said, you wouldn't have protection while the Dr. Web component(s) are disabled, but if Dr. Web is the cause of your gaming problems, this will likely fix the problem. You would have to remember to reactivate Dr. Web when you are finished. The Dr. Web icon will have a yellow warning (!) over it to remind you that protection is turned off.

Best wishes,

Jovonne

Even if these components are disabled, the problem will not be solved, and Dr.Web still has services that will crash .

I still think this is a compatibility issue .
