I'M trying to set up protection against data loss.

 

In The data Loss Protection section, the protected folder

 

When I try to open a text document from LibreOffice I get a message

 

Process is not allowed to change folder

 

Process: LibreOffice

 

Path: C:Program Files. ..softic.bin

 

I Try to add the specified path to the exceptions, but only executable files are visible in the list, and when I specify the full path, the Ok button is not available

 

Adding swriter. exe to exceptions does not help

 

How do I add LibreOffice to exceptions?

There was the bug, when GUI doesn't allow to add application without "exe" extension.

 

It was fixed last year: https://news.drweb.ru/show/?i=12991

 

 

The possibility to select any file when specifying exclusions of Data Loss Prevention has been added.

 

So, are you trying to add path "C:Program Files. ..softic.bin" (which is short path only to display) or fullpath (which will be visible in hint on short path)?

As I remember, fullpath should be "C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program\soffice.bin"
