Dr. Web's SpIDer Gate is stopping pacman (on Manjaro Linux which is based on Arch Linux) from syncing it's repositories. What happens is that it downloads almost all of the data file, reaches 99%, then the speed drops to bellow the minimum speed requirement, and it gives an error. If SpIDer Gate is disabled, this doesn't happen.

Also, Dr Web's System Tray Icon does not work with KDE Plasma 5. This is because Dr. Web uses Qt 4.8, which does not support status notifiers without a patch.

Could you please enable SpIDer Gate, do following in terminal (from root):

drweb-ctl cfset Firewall.Log /var/log/drweb-firewall.log

drweb-ctl cfset Gated.Log /var/log/drweb-gated.log

drweb-ctl cfset Root.DefaultLogLevel Debug

And then try to sync repostiory? If sync fails, please send /var/log/drweb-firewall.log and /var/log/drweb-gated.log to me using PM

After sync fails please reset these logging setting by typing (from root):

drweb-ctl cfset Firewall.Log -r

drweb-ctl cfset Gated.Log -r

drweb-ctl cfset Root.DefaultLogLevel -r

Could you please specify the version of your Manjaro distro?

Also, could you please describe how exactly you sync repositories?
