A heads up for those using Dr Web on Win 10.

I disabled Windows defender before installing Dr Web and all seemed well. However, after a few days I noticed that there was high CPU activity, checked Task Manager and found that Windows Defender was updating; it had re-enabled itself!!!

Apparently it can do this. To disable permanently take a look here; http://winaero.com/blog/disable-or-enable-windows-defender-in-windows-10/.

I used Option 2, NoDefender.

You can disable defender services in windows security boot mode. Win+R -> services.msc -> find Windows Defender and select type of boot - "disable".
