we need something, even v5 with it being in development for ... a lifetime, came out with features missing/promised even after the many years of waiting.

Security Space is supposed to be Drwebs top end product, Drweb are/were? supposed to be working on their own firewall, due a few months ago as far as im aware.
the GUI was due ages ago too, probably YEARS ago really.

My first impression is good, but when i change the level to 'Medium' it blocks a lot of well known programs on my comp, like winrar,some registry cleaning programs/tools, even some media players.Do not even want to know, what will happenns  if it is turned to 'Paranoid'!The solution i think is very simple - exclusion list!!Would be great if there was an option to exclude the trusted aplications.Think about that!

What does mean?

File associations? This is what the program will be allowed to open a specific file type. Do you want to know that?

Does the Minimal mode enough to protect the system ?
