Hi I just installed Dr Web Anti-Virus and did a complete scan on my comp which took over FIVE HOURS to do! I then proceeded to delete trojans etc which Dr Web found and it wouldn't work. The only button which would would activate was "Select All" and when I clicked on that no buttons were operative. I wasn't able to delete anything that took five hours to find. SO saying all this I decided I would delete this program from my computer and I can't do it. I go into ADD/REMOVE click delete and it wants to install. I go into C:/ Dr Web and there is no uninstall in the folder. I click on START, All Programs, Dr Web, Uninstall Dr Web and it wants to install it! PLEASE someone .... HOW do I remove it from my computer?

Try to install it once more (over existing installation) and then remove.

Thanks but I ended up doing a complete removal of all files in regedit, rebooted, deleted all folders, did a search for anything associated with DrWeb and found nothing.

I'd still like to know why I couldn't delete the Trojans DrWeb found. Is it because I am using the "Trial" version?

Probably, this trojans is again loaded from a local area network or the Internet or there is not detected loader of it trojans.

No, it is not connected in any way with trial version DrWeb. It is completely functional. Probably, it was necessary to update anti-virus base once again

There was definetely sth wrong with the installation, probably due to other security progs.

By pressing "Select All" ALL buttons should become active (except from "Cure" if it is incurable) and "Select All" turns to "Select none".
If you then press "Select none" ALL buttons become inactive again.

I faced the same uninstall problem with you, when I tried to install Dr.Web with Comodo Firewall Pro enabled. I had to shut is off completely to make it work.

Second time I installed Dr.WEB on a clean (after format) machine, it took 30 secs.
