Hey,

Does the AV-DESK service improve detection across all Drweb platforms?

or does it just confirm statistics on what types of malware, people are getting on their computers?

Hey serg,

I know that already, i think you may have misunderstood my question a little.

if AV-DESK is providing statistics from many computers, will it enhance and find more malware for the virus database, or will the statistics just help to track and locate a certain type of malware that is 'in-the-wild'?

or...

are the statistics meaningless?

better? ;)

Happy New Year to you.

AV-Desk is the service, the model of the protection distributing (for us and the users), the model of the business (for ISP). the statistics you've seen is the statistics of the 'in-the-wild' malware found on the users' computer. the more detailed statistics you can see here.

Hey Eugeny,

does it increase or give better detections for everyone else though, ie. Drweb Windows users.

It must create lots of differnet .origin and 'probably' detections, which should create more signatures updates and better service for everyone else, right?
