Hello,
I noticed a problem with Dr.Web installation regarding the firewall component.
Previously I had Dr.Web installed to D:\Program Files\DrWeb
I decided to reinstall it, but this time I changed the installation folder to C:\programs\DrWeb
The problem was that the Dr.Web Firewall Service still had the file path to D:\Program Files\DrWeb\frwl_svc.exe, but I had reinstalled it to C:\programs\DrWeb\
There was no frwl_svc.exe file anymore in D:\Program Files\DrWeb but the service tried to start it from there. This lead to windows eventlog service manager informing:
" The Dr.Web Firewall Service service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified. "
The uninstaller/installer didn't understand that I had changed the installation folder. The problem disappeared when I installed back to D:\Program Files\DrWeb.
I think the custom folder installation doesn't work for Dr.Web firewall if you have previously installed it to default location. SpiderGuard and other components had no problems.
Firewall Not Started / Installation Failed

Hello risl,
Have you considered to use dr.web remover? There may be left some registry keys etc.. this can cause the path problem. Remover cleans them also.
