Hello.
Could you please explain me, why my company’s software always receives a detection of a malware from Dr.Web?
Since our programs constantly receive a status of a dangerous digital product without any clear picture of why it happens, I decided to hold a kind of an experiment and sent you an empty installer for checking by your lab (ticket #5936276). I was really surprised to receive an answer that it’s not a false positive detection and the file is really a malware.
I’m wondering why it’s happening and want to understand your procedure for detection of a malware. Could you please explain the algorithm according to which you value digital products? How it happens that you detect an empty installer as a threat?
I’m looking forward for your response.
Thank you.
