Ok, I'm a bit confused. I want to download Dr.Web, install it and trial it before bying it. Can I do that?

Does it have a trial period for home users? Will it function and update properly during trial period?

I saw there is a link in the main site "Ask for demo", but it says "for business users only".

From where can I download Dr.Web as trial?

And a final one!
If I go and buy Dr.Web AV on-line (yup changed my mind about the store :P), just the AV nth else, will I receive a mail with the license key and the key file? What will I receive exactly?

Haven't done this before so excuse me for the many questions :(

Thank you!

Yes, sure.

Yes, 30 days.

Yes.

From where can I download Dr.Web as trial?

http://download.drweb.com/win/ Just download and install package and during first update via Dr.Web's Updater ask a demo key file with full functionality and trial period of 30 days. You'll receive it.

Ok, problem!!

SpIDer guard is innactive, it says it wasn't installed. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, but uninstall doesn't work!

I click on uninstall and it tries to install the software again, not unistall it!

Does there exist an uninstall file somewhere else I can get it?

Thanx!

Ok I solved it with a system restore BUT let me tell you how the problem occured so that you can help me with reinstalling it :)

1.I download the setup file
2.I run it
3.It installs Dr.Web
4.At end it says RESTART NOW or LATER?

I said NOW!
Vista put on a screen saying "Demo setup (or sth like that) is still being executed. Would you like to terminate all processes and restart or cancel?"
I said terminate and restart.

Screen appeared "Shutting down computer" as usual, BUT it wouldn't shut down, I left it for 10 minutes and it still didn't shut down. So I hit the restart button and forced a restart.
Well that is what happened :)

My guess is it terminated demo setup and didn't let it install properly, so I think this time I will choose RESTART LATER!

I tried giving all detailed information.
What do you think about it?

What Vista do you use? 32-bit or 64-bit?
If it is 64-bit Vista, so spider Guard will not work at all.

No it's 32-bit, but ok I managed it!

Does the express installation contain Dr.Web Scheduler? Because I can't find Dr.Web Scheduler (drwebscd.exe) anywhere in my system.

Does the express installation contain Dr.Web Scheduler?

No. Dr.Web uses Vista's system scheduler instead of own one.
