Had an odd reaction from DrWeb on my Ubuntu box. Installing nmap via " sudo apt-get install nmap " caused DrWeb to block the package manager access to files it needed and locked apt up. The locked apt process couldn't be killed (even with -9) and I had to reboot the system and clear some stale lock files.

Maybe the package manager directory should be excluded by default?
/var/lib/apt/, /var/cache/apt/

or at least not consider valid network testing tools as virii :)
