Doctor Web, Ltd. and a service provider of the Russian city of St. Petersburg Eltel start supplying Dr.Web anti-virus service. Eltel is the first St. Petersburg ISP that delivers anti-virus and anti-spam protection using Dr.Web AV-Desk.


Dr.Web AV-Desk is the first Internet service by Doctor Web, Ltd. The service targets ISPs and can be used to deliver anti-virus protection to an unlimited number of subscribers – both home users and companies. It also provides a mechanism for centralized management of the service delivery. Dr.Web AV-Desk is a robust and efficient tool supplying anti-virus and anti-spam protection to users regardless of their geographical location.


Under an agreement 25 000 customers of Eltel will get access to Dr.Web for Windows. Anti-Virus&Ant-spam to protect their computers against viruses, spam, spyware, adware and hack tools. Even subscribers with computers already compromised can make use of the service: Dr.Web anti-virus installs on an infected computer and usually cures it without resorting to additional tools.


The service can be enabled with one click in the Personal area of a subscriber. The service fee is as low as USD 4.10 per month. A free testing period is also available after activation of the service till the end of the month + one extra month.
