
Problem After Upgrade To 6.x

After upgrading to ver. 6.x (on Windows 7, 64-bit), the tray icon shows a red cross, but I cannot figure aout why.
Any idea?

It is necessary to delete version 5.0 and to instal version 6.0

There is no automatic updating on version 6.0
It is necessary to delete version 5.0 and to instal version 6.0
The installer is doing that automatic, so it was uninstalled before installing 6.0

We shouldn't redirect users at first place

That is true. Besides i recommend you to follow these steps.
- Uninstall dr.web with windows add/remove programs.
- Reboot your machine.
- Download Dr.Web removal utility and run it
- Reboot your machine again
- Reinstall dr.web
- Please post your feedback here, do you still have this problem?

Send me your request number from technical support.I did that a couple af days ago, but did not get any reply yet.
As an alternative solution to your problem:
You need to remove the old version 5. Using Dr.Web removal utility.
Download the latest version according to your personal license.
Restart your computer and install current antivirus software, which you should download it here.

You had 6 hours to provide a better solution. I don't have an expirience with Win7, so I gave the best answer I had. I think this is better than nothing.We shouldn't redirect users at first place
if we don't have any solution, support would be an option. It shouldn't be an option at the begining of thread. http://forum.drweb.com/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.png
