Hi,

Dr.Web Cure It (free trial version) found two threats (Trojan) in my Mozilla Thunderbird folder and asked me to neutralize it, which I did. And the whole folder with all my emails disappeared. Is there any way to neutralize/remove the infected emails only and restore the rest of the folder?

Manually only, you should find those emails and delete them yourself. 

For CureIt the whole thunderbird mailbox is a file, and it can deal with it only as a whole unfortunately.

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply. Do you have any idea how to find these emails? Your software reported those threats as KeyDLL.dll (Trojan.KeyLogger.6153) and svhosts.exe (Trojan.Click.27588). I use Windows 8.1. I have unhidden all hidden programs and used the 'search' button, but have not found them.

I'm afraid I don't. Searching by the attacments names may help, I don't know...
